Roses are red, violets are blue, if there’s powder, I’m off — ciao ciao to you. Having grown up in Switzerland’s biggest city, I’ve found myself drawn to new places time and again over the past few years, taking inspiration from new experiences and the people I meet along the way. From music and dancing to culture, cold-water swimming and trying out new sports, I love exploring something new. In the end, though, I always find my way back outdoors and up into the mountains. Along the way, my enthusiasm for the natural sciences comes with me — a curiosity I keep feeding with new knowledge through my studies in Earth system and climate science.
