Still well below average for the time of year. About half a meter at 1200m. Still surprisingly good to ride even in the forest. The fresh snow at the weekend (just under 20cm) has improved the situation a lot and was sorely needed.
Snow quality
The fresh snow came with a lot of wind (stormy gusts). Nevertheless, it was good to ski (no slush).
Risks
We were unable to observe any avalanche activity. Despite the storm, the formation of cornices on the crest of the Wildkamm was also below average.
Overall impression
Fantastic weather with no wind and great views. This made up for the struggle with the mountain pines (most of them turned around below the summit today). From the entrance to one of the (rear) gullies, we were then rewarded with an obstacle-free descent down to the forest road at 1200m.
