Descent to valley (to 1100 m)
Descent through forest
Blown backs
Variations of snow cover

Strong fluctuations and clear north-south slope difference. Wind-exposed areas such as ridges, crests and crests are often blown off and, in combination with solar radiation, partially aper.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Firn
Wind drifted snow

The whole program available (broken harsch, melting harsch, you name it). In shady hollows there was a lot of surface frost on still dry old loose snow. Such hollows were surprisingly nice to ski, but only with great caution due to the low snow depths. Obstructions such as vegetation and stones were always to be expected.

Wind drifted snow

North North-Eas East South-East

Intensity: low

Risks

No warning signs
North North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Risk of injury from falling through stones, vegetation etc. are the main danger.

Overall impression

Worse

Another dream weather, colder than last time. Although you can still find nice hollows and similar terrain spots that are easy to ski, fresh snow would really be in order again. Overall, however, the conditions here on the Niederalpl were much better than expected.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
