The snow conditions would be very good if the base wasn't missing. Today it was a good 30-40cm. Some of the ridges have been blown away but due to the lack of a base, the meadow looks out anyway. From yesterday to today, another 10-15 cm was added and the tracking started all over again.
Snow quality
As I said, if there was a base, I would give it 5 stars. The snow is great, but unfortunately you do occasionally graze the ground.
Risks
Defensive behavior was the order of the day. Poor visibility and strong winds didn't make it any easier. We didn't leave the forest and at 1500m you could feel a certain tension in the snow cover. Downhill direction east.
Overall impression
It would be perfect with some carpet pad, but you have to praise such good descents at the very edge of the Alps.
