Annaberg / Tirolerkogel: Sufficient snow for the tour from Pfarrboden, but the snow is blown off in places, hard or even icy. There was some fresh snow, about 5 to 10 cm, but this did not sufficiently cover the hard layer of old snow.
Snow quality
The old snow cover is very hard and load-bearing, so you don't collapse. That's positive ;) The fresh snow was somehow... mealy and had no connection with the old snow cover. In any case, there was far too little fresh snow for the old snow cover to be felt.
Risks
The old snow cover is well consolidated, there is little loose snow. There were no noticeable warning signs. The level 1 issued in the situation report could be fully understood on site.
Overall impression
The downhill conditions are not a great pleasure at the moment, you have to be careful in places when skiing over blown-off or icy patches. Despite the warm last few days, there is still enough snow to ski down without danger from stones or the like.
