Snow condition
The snow conditions were very good. Around 100cm of base with 30 to 40cm of loose powder snow on top. Every now and then a few branches stuck out of the snow cover but these were not a problem.
Snow quality
The snow fell without the influence of wind and was relatively cold. So it was perfect for nice turns. Underneath the loose blanket was a hard layer from the last few days, which often hit my knees on the crests.
Risks
Smaller spontaneous loose snow slides in the steep terrain, and there were also a lot of snow slides from the last few days.
