Blown-off slopes and ice as far as the eye can see. If it doesn't snow soon, I'll hike out.

The stormy wind has blown the 10cm of fresh snow from last night into the hollows and gullies and exposed the bare ice. On the ridge and in areas close to the crest, most of it has blown off and is frozen out. Below the tree line, there is only snow in shady areas and this is frozen through and through.

Old snow and ice wherever you look. The fresh snow that has been pressed into the gullies and hollows is extremely wind-pressed and brittle. Due to the weather conditions of the last few days, there is a risk of falling on the shady slopes as it is as smooth as glass.
Risks
According to the avalanche warning service, the avalanche warning level in the Rax snow mountain region is I. In my opinion, we are in steep terrain at II, as the drift snow is sometimes very deep, breaks very easily and can slide down through the icy ground.
Overall impression
If you have the urge to go up the mountain, then it's OK, but it's no fun. The changing snow conditions make it difficult to assess the situation while riding.
