In the meantime, unfortunately, it's just a case of eyes closed and through to the valley. There is more than enough snow on the plateaus and all the gullies and slopes are well and generously filled.
Snow quality
First firn descent this year. Very good conditions at around 2000m. Entered the slope around noon and it was better than expected. Unfortunately, the quality decreases rapidly as the altitude drops.
Risks
A few patches of snow in the meadow slopes but nothing exciting visible. On the north side, drift snow could still be an issue. But this is easy to recognize.
Overall impression
For an after-work round quite good :)
