Snow report Alpenostrand, 03/04/2016
Niederalpl quite nice after fresh snow the day before yesterday. A "deep" snow day with the kids in the morning, then a short ski tour in the afternoon in changeable weather (sun and clouds) and equally good snow conditions.

Still well below average, of course. But thanks to the fresh snow, a real winter feeling, especially at the beginning. Approx. 30-60 cm old and 20-30 cm new.

Unfortunately, the powdery fresh snow from the day before yesterday has since been significantly affected by the wind. In the forest and in hollows sheltered from the wind, however, it is quite appealing (initially dry, already settled snow). On the sunny side, however, the crust became increasingly sticky as it warmed up.
Risks
Uncritical below 1500. More delicate above due to strong winds and drifts.
Overall impression
This year's winter makes us modest. Quite a nice day of skiing. Thanks to the "Niederalpl factor", the snow was well conserved and not yet shredded ...
