The snow cover is closed from about 1200m. Before that, there is virtually no snow at all. In many places, stones and branches disturb the snow cover.
Snow quality
Had a mega firn descent today around 09:00 in the morning. In some areas in the gullies, however, the snow cover is dirty due to stones sliding/falling from the rocks.
Risks
The main danger comes from sliding snow avalanches. Some snow mouths (especially in southern exposures) have already made themselves felt. In addition, you can see how the water is already undermining the snow cover at the edges of the cliffs.
Overall impression
In the right place at the right time, you can enjoy super fine firn runs! Perfect spring conditions...
