Snow condition
There is only snow in the gully. The ascent was made with approach shoes and the material on the back. On the plateau (approx. 1800-2000m) it is already getting whiter and whiter and it will certainly not be long before a solid base is available.
Snow quality
Hard and windy but there were still a few good turns on piste-like conditions.
Risks
As the snow thickness is close to zero and the descent was the only one that was passable, you can imagine the avalanche situation. The focus at the moment is more on the danger of falling on the icy ascent and descent passages. (see photos)
Overall impression
We made the desired descent without coming into contact with any rocks. This meant we could return to the car in peace with our approach boots.
