Rote Schütt flank on the Schneeberg

Snow condition
It's getting nice and slow on the local mountain too. No significant rocky terrain on a 1000 m descent. A short carrying passage through the mountain pines but for the beginning of the season already a considerable amount of snow. Crampons are recommended in places on the ascent via the north-facing Fadensteig. The Fadensteig is passable throughout. The plateau is a little blown off but not too tragic.
Snow quality
Well-placed snow in the well-traveled east exposure. It was too stormy for us to check other exposures, so we went for the best first. Which was a good decision in the end. By the time we got to the car, the weather was already moving in and visibility was probably zero.
Risks
LLB stood on 2 at over 1500 meters and on 1 below. Special attention must be paid to north-facing gullies. The snow load was more than expected with + 1 meter in the north-facing gully from last week. The descent from today (east) was safe to ski. Well set and like on the ski slope with a bit of overlay on top.
Overall impression
Very good conditions without ice for the Schneeberg.
And that is already worth a lot
