In the valley (at 700m) a little sugary. From approx. 1000m onwards, rapidly increasing, but still clearly too little for skiing. At 1600m approx. 40cm.

Loose powder snow. Strong wind influence on the wind-exposed plateau.
Risks
In the Schneealm region, due to the small amount of fresh snow and the lack of a base for the most part, it is safe.
Overall impression
Beautiful exploratory tour to the Schneealm with long-awaited winter idyllic impressions. Great views towards the Graz mountains, Veitsch and Vienna's local mountains. Although there were already some ski tourers (stone skis, only useful in the forest area on the forest and alpine roads, carry them below), it is not yet worth taking your skis with you. Still very appealing as an "outdoor activity day".
