Overall impression
Snow condition
At the start at 900m, the warm night and the foehn wind had taken their toll on the snow. Only streaks left. From 1200m it's okay again and the snow is no longer as wet as below. The snow on the plateau has been heavily transported and is now lying in the south-facing gullies and hollows.
Snow quality
Everything below 1200m is forgettable. Puffy, heavy and completely soaked. Above that, it gets icy and harsh and not necessarily better. Blown off on the north-facing exposures. Heavy and soggy on the south side. The south-facing exposure over 1800m was okay / there was a north-facing gully (rather icy and hard) / the west-facing cirque was also okay down to 1300m / the remaining 400m back to the car were completely damp and very unrewarding.
Risks
Sunny slopes are very affected by wet snow. Hard on the shaded side and more at risk of falling. Cornices can break due to the heat.
Overall impression
Well, exercise therapy is pretty good
