Snow condition
The originally good snow conditions from the beginning/mid-December have been significantly reduced. But it is still reasonably good.
Snow quality
Up to approx. 15 cm of moist/wet fresh snow on a load-bearing melted snow cover.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Overall impression
I can't really do much more than ride the slopes with a few detours at the moment. Yesterday it was still very hard and therefore hardly enjoyable to ride off-piste. Today it's been snowing heavily since early morning with temperatures around zero. During the day, the snowfall limit fluctuated around 1000m, towards the afternoon it was already rising slightly and the snowfall felt increasingly "wetter". Untracked on a load-bearing crust, the fresh snow was still quite easy to ski. However, it then became permanently too wet and the soaking affected not only the snow cover but also the people on it. We can expect rain up to the summits (or possibly even higher) from tomorrow at the latest. Then it will finally be time to take a break and wait for the next "real" (dry) snowfall.
