10 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1000 m)
Descent through forest

Enough snow on the north side from the road to the Geierköpfe. Descent through the last section of forest possible with care. Gully very well snowed in and easy up to the ridge. Hardly any snow on the south side to the summit, but can be done very carefully on skis thanks to the fresh snow. Surprisingly less fresh snow than expected, 5 cm in the valley, 10 cm higher up

Snow quality

Powder snow

Dust on crust - 10 cm of powder on a hard surface. Not the expected fresh snow, but good to ski. Softer base in the upper area and in the gully and nice to ski.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Worse

Tours in the Ammergebirge from approx. 1000 m still feasible, good base on the north side and stone contact avoidable. Unfortunately only 10 cm of fresh snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
