Ski tour in the Ammergau mountains with great powder (north)

Snow condition
The snow conditions in the Ammergau mountains are very good. Most ski tours (with a few exceptions on the south side) can be done. The situation in the forest also looks quite good and some tours that are not so common can be done. Since last weekend, around 30 cm of fresh snow has fallen at 1500 m above sea level. Due to the low temperatures, the snow is still very powdery. There were also a few centimeters of fresh snow from Saturday to Sunday and it snowed lightly all day today. If you can still find untracked slopes, the snow is absolutely fine. But the former is probably not that easy.
Snow quality
The snow quality is excellent. The long-lasting cold and regular fresh snow has maintained the powder snow quality. The contact with the hard-frozen harsch cover under the fresh snow is sometimes somewhat unpleasant, for example when hitting old downhill tracks or an avalanche cone.
Risks
Overall, the avalanche situation is okay and quite safe.
Overall impression
Unfortunately, the high fog didn't lift. Nevertheless, it was a great day with fine snow.
