2 days in the Ammergau mountains between sulz and powder snow

Snow condition
We've been in the Ammergau mountains for the last 2 days and the snow is plentiful. You can usually start from the valley and apart from a few south-facing ski tours, which are now nappier, you can actually do most things. Even in the forest, it's a little poor at lower altitudes. But there is plenty of snow on the mountains. Yesterday, the first warm day after the long cold spell, it thawed up to 2000m on the sunny side. On the north side, however, the snow (1500m above sea level) has held on and is still quite powdery and easy to ski. Today it was significantly warmer than yesterday. Nevertheless, the snow has not thawed on the north side. But if it stays this warm, the snow in the valleys will soon be gone.
Snow quality
As already mentioned, the snow quality depended heavily on the temperature development over the weekend. While yesterday (Saturday) morning there was still powder in all exposures, tomorrow (Monday) this will only be possible on the north side. Otherwise, the snow cover was already very wet and slushy this afternoon.
Risks
I would watch out for wet snow and sliding snow here again. After the snow cover was only superficially moistened on Saturday, it was even warmer and sunnier today than yesterday.
Overall impression
Even if we didn't undertake the most exciting tours, it was a successful ski touring weekend thanks to the weather and the sometimes really good snow.
