Snow condition
Still good for the time of year, but at this altitude it's getting a bit tight. We carried our skis for the last 100 m back to the parking lot (I rarely do that ;-)) and we had to ski carefully below 1300 meters and follow old tracks. On the south side of the final slope there were really nasty snow-covered stones.
Snow quality
On the north side from about 1400 meters nice powder, about 15-20cm. Unfortunately, there were quite a few old tracks and avalanche boulders on the tour that were a nuisance. Below 1400 meters the snow was partly slightly capped, but still ok to ski. On the south side it was covered and rather difficult to ski.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Seemed very stable, hardly any fluctuations in the amount of fresh snow.
Overall impression
Subjective 4 stars - firstly because I had been planning the tour for a long time and secondly because the conditions on other tours in the region are certainly great at the moment. Unfortunately, it's difficult to judge what it looks like under the fresh snow from home...
