You could start from the parking lot without any problems. Due to the rather low altitude of the area, you have to reckon with ground contact. At the Kolbensattelhütte it was over 30cm.
Snow quality
The snow was loose and fluffy due to the northern exposure. As it is expected to stay cold for the next few days, we hope that it maintains its quality.

Overall impression
Another great after-work tour. The quality of the snow and the fact that we were almost alone on the mountain made the evening even sweeter.
