In the valley south of the Gotthard, at 1100m, the rain has really brought it to its knees. Barely a meter below, at 1800m a lot +1.5m. Enemy contact only where the wind blows in full force.

It was blowing hard in the valley on arrival. Massive drifts at the top. Protected from the wind but it was heroflitzepow. The lower 200m you got through to the rain crust, but this was easily overcome by 1000m descent in powpow

Risks

Where the wind came in, there were some decent packs. Some of them came from very steep slopes. See picture. But they were easy to navigate around. Twice we had a boom at the tree line!

Overall impression

Another world-class day. At the beginning we struggled a bit with the wind until we went to the super Mario and collected the stars there until we ran out of light. One point deducted due to the wind and respect for the conditions in the Black Forest.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
