In the area around the Gotthard, the snow cover is quite ok thanks to the snowfall from the south at the beginning of the season. You can ski anywhere in the valley (1500m) and all standard tours are possible at altitudes around the Rotondo hut (2500m). There was practically no fresh snow here and it was only cosmetic (approx. 20mm). It looks good, but it's not.

Risks
Yesterday the 2 was too high. Today a 1 again. Fits again. Gliding snow still currentDanger of falling is definitely higher.
Overall impression
Yesterday in the whiteout to the Rotondo hut. Today crampon training days on the Leckihorn, descent via Rottälli to Realp. Was better than expected, albeit at a very modest level. It was soft on at least "five" turns. At least five more than the last few weeks....
