Just enough. Standard tours can and are mostly used. With a little caution, you can avoid contact with rocks. The top is well blown and the bottom too little, but towards Realp it gets less and less and be careful with streams and other terrain traps.

Broken snow, broken snow, even more broken snow, in sheltered areas occasionally a few turns in heavily packed powder. On the south side you can already ski on firn.

Risks

Relatively relaxed. However, the snowpack structure doesn't bode well if it were to snow on it again. As described in the LLB, I would still approach steep terrain in the NWO sector very defensively. Here you can see many smaller snow slabs that have detached themselves.

Beautiful tour with a long ascent in modest snow conditions but lots of sunshine...Why do you get sunburn on your nose in January - it doesn't start until mid-February at the earliest ?!?

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
