Compared to other regions, it's quite ok, but certainly not enough for A'matt. Classic routes such as the valley descent via Felsental are possible - but I didn't know there were sooo many pines. There should be supplies, then you can open the gas tap...

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

20-30cm of fluffy powder that fell without much wind. It doesn't get much better than this - but you can always feel the ground - from 12 the wind came and then it was over

Risks

Subjectively "relaxed" in the morning without wind in the variant terrain. With the first gusts of wind, within minutes there was a great deal of drifting and it was much trickier.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Great morning, with very good snow quality and surprisingly nice weather on the Gemsstock - after the first gusts almost blew us off the mountain, we headed home

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
