Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

Decent base with sufficient snow in east/west/north. The snow on the southern slopes is slowly dissolving in the lower valleys. Hardly any stone contact today.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

20 cm of snow after the last snowfall. The slopes are extremely varied, also in terms of drift snow. Depending on the orientation within a slope, there were differences from extremely pressed snow to slightly firny snow to beautiful powder, and the north/east exposures were mostly better than the north/west.

Risks

Drift snow was very often conspicuous and clearly visible. The southern slopes below 2000m were critical, as some of the slopes were completely green (still white in the morning).

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Great weather (until the afternoon), brilliant group, good mountain guide, successful descents, what more could "man" want?

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
