Above 2,000 meters there is around 2m of snow. With a sensible choice of line, rock contact in the area could be avoided. A few impatient skiers have already skied Felsental and Guspis, but the snow cover decreases considerably below 2,000 meters.

Snow quality

On the north-facing slopes there was 30cm of powder that was pleasant to ski. There was already a light cover on the south side. Due to the warm temperatures and the bright sunshine, there will probably also be a light cover on east and west-facing slopes tomorrow. Slopes good.

Risks

No avalanche activity was observed in the ski area today. There have been a few snow slabs and wet snow slides in the last few days. Pay attention to daytime warming and north-facing drift snow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Beautiful first day in the snow with great weather and a few turns in the powder. A little more people than expected, so that the Russi slope resembled a field after just 2 laps. Unfortunately, there was still not much snow in the valley. But it's still early in the winter and the foundations for a good season are already in place.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
