The week before last wasn't bad. But now it's even better. You can easily get down to Gurschenalp off-piste without touching a single stone. And the surprising thing today was the 20 centimetres of loose fresh snow to enjoy. It can go on like this.
Snow quality
Surprisingly good for me. As mentioned above, around 20 centimetres of loose powder snow has been added. I would never have expected such good snow on and off the slopes today.
Risks
I haven't seen anything special today. And because SLF does not yet publish a daily bulletin, I am holding back on the current situation and forecast.
Overall impression
Wow, surprisingly good. A trip to Andermatt and the Gemsstock is absolutely worthwhile. The snow is of excellent quality and plentiful. And for those who don't yet venture off-piste at this time of year: the pistes up to and including Gurschenalp are also in excellent condition. Have fun and I'll be back on Sunday with an up-to-date report from Titlis.
