Not bad at all, it has snowed a lot, within 4 hours there was about 15-20cm of fresh snow today. Skiing down to the valley was possible without any problems. In the forest, however, you still have to reckon with occasional contact with stones.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Due to the cold temperatures, the fresh snow was really good and fluffy, especially in areas where there was no wind. However, depending on how the wind was blowing, you could get a hard layer of snow through from time to time.

Risks

I would rate it as a rather tense 3, similar to the current situation report. The wind must have done a great job. Unfortunately, visibility above the tree line was pretty poor, so you couldn't really judge what it looked like.

Great day today. As almost all the lifts in Stuben were closed today, we spontaneously decided to take a trip to the Sonnenkopf and were not disappointed.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
