There is snow right down to the valley. It is rideable, but you have to reckon with surface damage. Great descents through the valleys to Langen am Arlberg are possible, especially as you can ski on tracks at the bottom.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

There is enough snow to ski in all exposures and also to get out. North-facing slopes are windswept and Vechten shows signs of strong winds in the last few days. The snow is most powdery in the west expo. East Expo softens from 10 o'clock and is nice to ski! Fine firn! Otherwise hard in the morning, Nordic runs can only be enjoyed with painful scraping noises.

Risks

Permanently a 2 in all exposures. Drift snow patches are clearly visible. North-facing slopes are interwoven, Vechten mighty. We saved ourselves the Kaltenberg funeral :)

Sunset every day. Sunrise every day. Clear as a star. Constant sun and good conditions. Steep slopes are possible and doable! Tickles and is so much fun!!! Fresh snow in the forecast would be cool!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
