Snow condition

Yesterday the heavy rain turned into snow and it snowed a good 10-15cm above 2000m. In the valley about 5cm. You could hardly feel the snow cover at the top, but you could feel it further down.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

The fresh snow was cold, fast and very good to ski. Especially at higher altitudes, you could get very good face shots. Near the valley station, however, it was dust on crust

Risks

Many larger, mainly blasted slab avalanches can be observed. In the distance, of course, there were also some avalanches. Away from the pistes in steeper terrain, there are unstable accumulations of drift snow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

In the morning it was wonderfully cold, sunny and the snow was dusty. In the afternoon, the south-facing slopes were a little baked by the sun. All in all, a great day with powder and sun. What more could you want.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
