Angetrieben vom gestrigen CR mussten wir die Lage gleich mal abgecken - wie siehts aus am Sonnenkopf?

The lower 2-seater lift is still closed, but there's enough snow at the top and you can ski well and have fun. Above 2000m it's surprisingly good even for Vorarlberg at the moment.

Dry and dusty. It's hard to believe, but the pictures speak for themselves. 5-10cm in the finest quality, depending on the location. A crust comes through in blown-off areas, but not really bad. Underneath there is a hard crust that you can't break through. Even this afternoon the quality was still excellent.

Risks

In the areas where we were out and about today, it seemed quite safe at first, but we also noticed whamming noises and subsidence. The situation is not completely relaxed and danger spots are difficult to recognize. Due to the lack of snow, it is better to think twice in some places.

A treat for this season...can go on like this. Not much powder, but you can't deny that today was fun.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
