You can ski down to 700m before the rain. It stayed with us for a very long time and snowed heavily all day. I've rarely experienced such a massive, wet snowfall. If we stopped for a moment, there were 3 cm of fresh snow on our clothes.

It fell in damp conditions and with little wind here, if the crystals were destroyed then further up in the clouds. Nevertheless, it was good to ride and very boggy. It wasn't blower, would have been too sick... Between 3 and 4 stars and decreasing strongly towards the evening.

Risks

Tense and the situation report was fully accurate for the region. Very tense from midday. Spontaneous departures and these also in the mountain forest. Was able to trigger a mini snow slab next to the draw path with a few hits on the snow cover. Pretty impressive. It continued to rain in the evening. There was 25cm in the morning and it snowed another 30cm over the course of the day. Our first tracks were completely closed again by the afternoon. A very defensive approach to the weekend. The warmth and the wet snowfall will soon ease the situation, but it will still take a few days.

Cracky storm day. My clothes were completely wet, even Gore-Tex Pro and that means something. Even better quality would have been "unreal", but you still need something to dream about. The amount of fresh snow that fell was also quite different from what I heard, apart from what the stations showed. Depending on how it accumulated.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
