Descent through forest

Extremely good snow conditions for the beginning of January. You can actually ski everything and also ski quite well without the risk of contact with the snow. A good base for the rest of the ski year.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow

After a long time without fresh snow, some fresh snow again. There is a good 20 cm of fresh snow on a somewhat hard base, which is very nice to ski on and has enjoyed little wind influence.

Risks

West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

The avalanche danger is currently based on fresh snow and drifting snow. As the fresh snow has not yet been influenced by the wind, the situation report fits quite well so far.

Overall impression

Cool touring day in the Arlberg region. Of course, the visibility meant that the options were somewhat limited, but there was nothing going on, good snow and three good laps. With the nice weather in the near future, I'm sure something will work out quite well.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
