In general, there is still too little snow for this time of year, but the wind influence is limited below 2500-2700m. Between 1700-2500m there is powder snow on an acceptable base in the northern exposures, the base under the fresh snow on the southern sides is hard, frozen and mostly quite good.

The last fresh snow is powdery above 2000m on the shady sides, below 1700-2000m and on the sunny sides the snow is heavy and soaked

Risks

The LLB actually says it all. Caution is advised with old and new drift snow accumulations in lee areas. Wet snow slides can occur locally at lower elevations.

Overall impression

It was a nice day of skiing with a few acceptable turns in yesterday's fresh snow. With good visibility, it's even possible to make several continuous turns. However, there is still not enough snow to make lines without any worries. The last snowfall was good but we still need a few more like this.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
