Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne

There is still not enough snow for this time of year. The wind and sun are doing their work and the conditions remain challenging. There are more and more snow-free spots on ridges and lower, sun-exposed slopes

Snow quality

1 von 5 Sterne

The last fresh snow was heavily transported by the wind above 1800m. There is acceptable snow in the gullies that invites you to ride, although most of it is wind-packed. The biggest problem are the approaches which are blown off.

Risks

The avalanche situation is becoming more relaxed every day. At lower altitudes, wet snow slides occur when there is still snow.

Overall impression

1 von 5 Sterne

It's a search, at higher altitudes and NE-N-NW expos you can sometimes find powder. There is simply not enough snow and the bases are only partially available. In general, the winter is not the best for freeriding so far.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
