There is definitely snow now. You can't really ride in the forest yet, even above the tree line it's very snowy. On meadows and in forest aisles it's slowly becoming quite good, although you still have to reckon with contact with the ground.
Snow quality
It doesn't really get any better than this, deep, light powder. If it had been four stars in the morning, it was 5 in the afternoon thanks to the persistent snowfall...
Risks
We were only below the tree line, above that it was certainly critical, and there was no visibility.
Overall impression
There should have been a little more carpet pad, but otherwise it was quite acceptable...
