Sonnenkopf, great base but nothing more.

Snow condition
There is only one thing to say ... we finally have the base. Now all we need is enough pow to make us completely happy. Of course, there are still small rocks peeking out from time to time, which is due to the wind situation last week, but will always be part of the mountains. Some of the cliffs that were there last weekend are now just hills that are easy to ride.
Snow quality
When you do find untouched pow, it is either very difficult or only minimally present. However, there are rarely icy spots, which make backcountry skiing a lot more pleasant than expected.
Risks
Thanks to the good base and the settled snow, it should be fairly safe, unless of course you go into fully loaded, extremely steep sections.
Overall impression
It was a really great day for playing around and testing, but of course we would like to have really deep pow blowing around our noses.
