There was another 40cm of fresh snow, of course there is more than enough base. Only in one completely blown away spot did you manage to find sharks ;)

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

40 cm of the most beautiful powder, cold and without wind, only just above Stuben did we find slightly wind-pressed snow, and as expected the base below was very compact.

Risks

Towards Stuben it was slightly capped due to the influence of the south wind, smaller slides could be triggered by individual riders. (See last photo)Apart from that, some fresh snow came along as sluff, but the layer underneath seems to be stable. There is also a snow profile from yesterday from the region: https://www.lawis.at/lawis_api/dev/files/profiles/snowprofile_9549.png?v=1Im Intersport 2 skiers got new cartridges at lunchtime after they were partially buried...

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

A fantastic day on the Arlberg. We were able to ride new lines until 15:30, some of us would like to go back the next day. Unfortunately, there was a lot of contact with the hard base, otherwise it would have been 5 stars!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
