Snow condition
After the heavy snowfall of the last few weeks, a very passable base has formed and underground contact is no longer to be expected. However, the snow depth in the valley has decreased again somewhat.
Snow quality
In the morning, the powder was not yet influenced by the sun - perfect, fast and with lots of face shots. However, as expected, only the north-facing slopes were really powdery in the afternoon.
Risks
The south-facing slopes influenced by the sun, especially in the afternoon, are very dangerous. Otherwise, the snow was well settled. Above the tree line there was a lot of drifting.
Overall impression
What more could you want than sunshine and untracked powder! Unfortunately, it's extremely warm today and a crust can quickly form when it freezes again.
