The snow conditions vary greatly due to the influence of the wind. According to the Ulmer Hütte measuring station, 310cm, but the back is virtually snow-free. But if you think about it, many variants are possible without stone contact. Finally a base without wind (it's mid-February?) would be something.

Where the snowfall of the last few days came down without the influence of strong winds or was loosely transported there, about 30cm of loose powder, otherwise partly already melting crust due to sunlight or heavy due to the influence of wind.

Risks

The LLB throws out a three and warns of drifting snow and transitions from little to much snow. We were able to observe medium-sized loose snow slides, primarily triggered by warming. Otherwise, it made a fairly well consolidated impression.

One of the better days this season with Bluebird after sunshine. Unfortunately, it ended up being a bit gloomy for me personally, my winter is probably over now :(

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
