Snow report Arlberg, 02/20/2016
Tropical temperatures on the Sonnenkopf - it was already far too warm in the morning, with significant rain and pamp snow. Unfortunately, that was nothing...

Snow condition
The advantage of the fluffy mass of snow: there is plenty of it. The tracks are all snowed over again and most of the stones have also disappeared.
Snow quality
It rained up to 2000m overnight, so the snow is wet and damp. During the day, it was also much too warm with significant plus degrees, with raindrops falling in places. There are clear traces of rain on the snow cover. Wet and heavy, not a pleasure.
Risks
There were numerous wet snow slides in the ski area due to the warm temperatures. Most of them were self-timers.
Overall impression
As described in the teaser, unfortunately it was nothing today. Much too warm and damp, heavy snow. It's supposed to stay mild for the next few days...
