Snow condition
Enough snow, but the west-facing slopes of Albona at the top were empty due to the wind. Otherwise enough down into the valley, fresh 10-15cm were also in the valley.
Snow quality
Partly icy snow at the top, slowing cardboard at the bottom in the afternoon. But good turns possible in between without feeling the old snow.
Risks
Fresh snow was easy to disturb, powder slide at the top, wet snow slide at the bottom in steep terrain with more than 35 degrees. Subjectively experienced as tense.
Overall impression
Visibility was moderate, but a nice easy day without much activity. Nice after-ride: There was a wine cellar tour in the Hospiz St. Christoph, mega.
