Nach mehr oder weniger ergiebigen Schneefällen die letzten Tage mal wieder ein wunderschöner Wintertag mit 5-25cm Neuschnee je nach Windeinfluss.

Most of the stones are covered again, but the base is still sparse and non-existent at lower altitudes. Depending on the wind, there is now 5-25 cm of fresh snow on top. The areas exposed to the wind were uncovered by the sun during the course of the day.

The fresh snow that fell was very nice and fluffy in the morning but became heavy and wet in all expos during the course of the day due to the warmth. Really fluffy powder can only be found above 2000m and in pure north expos.

Risks

The LLB gives a good picture of the situation. Today there were mainly surface slides which increased in size during the course of the day. The heavy fresh snow then slid spontaneously on the hardened base.

It's quite good for skiing, as long as you don't venture into too rocky or exposed terrain. The biggest problem, as has been the case all season, is the entrances, which are often snowless.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
