Snow condition
The sun is gaining strength and the south-facing slopes are starting to snow up to higher altitudes. The situation is still good, let's see how it develops over the week.
Snow quality
Up to 2000m in the NW to N exposures, the snow is still nice and creamy to powdery. Where the sun reaches, everything was already soft in the afternoon and there was already a clear cover on top.
Risks
Several small snow slides from Friday and some slides caused by the wet snow. We avoided south-facing ascents on the tour, but I still wouldn't venture into steep terrain at the moment, especially because of the warming.
Overall impression
It's been better, it's been worse. Spring has definitely arrived.
