Almost no base available at lower altitudes in the forest. Otherwise really good.
Snow quality
The best snow I've skied on the Arlberg on north and shady slopes: velvety, effortless powder - reminds me a lot of Alaska. Where the sun/wind had an influence, there is a crust in places.
Risks
The fresh snow has settled well and it is no longer as tricky as it was a few days ago. However, you have to watch out for drift snow accumulation. The slope warming as well as old snow can still pose a danger.
Overall impression
Perfect weather and Ak Powder - An insanely good splitboard day on Rendl with 3 untracked big mountain lines. It couldn't be better!
