Skitour Namloser Tal: ja unglaublich!
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Better than a little further north-east. Launch at approx. 1150m possible without any problems. Enemy sighted only rarely. The layer of snow on the ridges and ridge remains thin.
Snow quality
Very different. From the finest older powder, which is perfect for skiing, through to spring slush and even a really nasty top layer. Today I was lucky and only had good snow under my ski ears. Down below, the snow is damp and freezes in the shade in the afternoon. If the sun doesn't come out tomorrow and it stays cold, it could be completely unusable on the "spring snow slopes".
Risks
Level 2, above 2400 level 3. You can also see older wet snow slides in the Lechtal. Large cornices hang from the ridges. The last snow seems to have fallen with little wind influence, at least in the corner. You have to allow for the daytime warming, as the sun is already giving off a lot of steam. That's why neighboring slopes can also have very different snow. Steep, sometimes very steep slopes were skied in the corner. Everything held up. On the other hand, somewhat flatter slopes right next to it have already slipped, not without problems, but not tragic either. I find it difficult to assess.
Overall impression
That I can still experience THIS! Perfect weather, blue skies, great snow, almost no people - even a blind hen finds a grain of corn! The first thermal clouds over the peaks...
