Nothing new is to be expected here. April 11th and not even the smallest wall of snow next to the road from Stuben up to Alpe Rauz. That is - no wonder - far below average.

It was good today. In contrast to yesterday's end of season in Damüls/Mellau (where there was sticky snow of the finest kind off-piste, but the pistes were quite good). However, the snow surface is very "bumpy" over large parts, so that only short sections offer really nice downhill moments. A few warm days should smooth things out here. However, the snow cover will then decrease at the same time and as there is not much, it may not be enough.

Risks

Relaxed, much is unloaded, observe the course of the day.

Beautiful day with a few good descents. The south-facing pillar slope on the Schindlergrat was even very good between 11 and half past twelve, 3 stars here.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
