Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

Thanks to the fresh snowfall last week, there was a decent amount of snow in the Lechtal mountains and you could start skiing straight from the car. However, the fresh snow has already settled and a layer of hard snow has formed.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

The high temperatures of yesterday and today have made the powder snow disappear. In the shady exposures, you will find a more or less stable layer of harsh snow or ice (base of wet loose snow slide). Sun-exposed terrain melts quickly.

Risks

The avalanche situation depends heavily on the exposure to the sun and the time of day when it warms up, typically in spring.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Ordinary end to the season with great weather but only moderately good snow

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
