2 stars even for October only with a lot of good will. The snowfall was of course quite heavy, but that's been better at this time of year. As the snow is quite wet/heavy, you can hardly get through to the base in the snowy, blown-in areas.
Snow quality
Quite a damp and sticky story. Due to the high temperatures and the diffuse radiation, the snow cover is soaked from above and below, which can create interesting effects when it sinks in. Mostly still soft and ok to ride, only on steeper south-facing slopes a lid.
Risks
I would avoid steep slopes, but it's not worth taking a risk at the moment anyway.
Overall impression
Quite all right for October. With a little more visibility there would have been a third star.
