Of course there is much more snow on the Arlberg than anywhere else in the east, but it's not much here either.the snow depth from the fresh snow of the past week is probably just under 50cm, unfortunately there is nothing underneath.with the utmost caution you can move a little in the flatter and either blown-in or wind-protected terrain, but there is always contact with the ground. By the end of November there could be a bit more snow...

Nice, fluffy powder. Minimal wind cover in a few small areas, therefore one star deducted.

Risks

I wouldn't rate it as very critical, but you should watch out for sliding snow and drifting snow! Avalanche danger will probably increase in the coming days.

Overall impression

Well. Not really worth it as there's simply not enough snow. But you have to climb somewhere at some point. Thanks to nice, mild weather without wind and a nice cloudy atmosphere, all in all ok, but more snow is urgently needed.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
